The New Shoes on Our Radar
I don’t know if it’s just me or if it has to do with the weather, but I’m excited about footwear again. Getting through all the colder months wearing the same shoes day in and day out, now that warm weather is here, I’ve been able to dig out some “oldies but goodies” and pull on some new heat as well. From a leather slipper that can be worn both indoors and outdoors, to a pair of sneakers that’ll improve your workouts and boots that will work for your return to the office—there’s a lot of good shoes out there right now. With so many great styles dropping these days, we thought we’d pull a few of our current favorites to showcase. These are the footwear our team can’t stop talking about.
HIIT TRAINER
LANE EIGHT’s newest tech-forward sneaker was designed specifically to help you perform during high-intensity workouts. Engineered to combat the usual problems with gym shoes, these feature a plant-based knit upper that’s moisture-wicking, and ultra-breathable, with engineered zones for ventilation and stretch (right where you need it). An algae-based foam midsole offers impact-ready cushioning while vegan microfiber overlays add abrasion-resistance in high-wear areas. Oh and the monochromatic colorways are really cool looking too. In short, these will have you setting a new PR without forgoing style, comfort or sustainability.

WAFFLE TRAINER 2
The styling of this shoe reminds me of something Larry Bid would wear from the HBO series, Winning Time. I personally love wearing neutrals, but throw these on with a navy tee and chinos, and these will instantly pop. Featuring a low profile with tonal suede and nylon canvas, they have the perfect footwear ingredients for being your go-to kicks all summer long.

MR. GRUMPY LEATHER SLIPPERS
These simple leather slippers are great for both indoor or outdoor wear. They’re lined with leather and have a softened heel for extra comfort. The best part is that these slippers will break in with each wear, allowing the leather to contour to your feet, making for a more comfortable footwear option for years to come. Style these with your favorite pajama set or a pair of cargo pants and pocket tee for weekend errands.

BRASS BOOT
I just got these boots myself, and I’ll be wearing them year-round. I know you’re thinking, “boots in the summer?” But since they’re suede, they feel lighter and will look great with some faded jeans or dare I say a suit? The best part? These Goodyear-welted boots don’t require any break-in and are comfortable as soon as you lace them up. The vegetable-tanned Kudu leather is both soft and strong, while the lug sole adds support and durability. Wear these back to the office or for a weekend date night—either way they’ll sharpen up your look.
