Possible No Scarlett Johansson in Black Widow sequel? Says director Cate Shortland
Kate Shortland believes that without Scarlett Johansson, Black Widow might have a sequel.
The 52-year-old director helped with the new Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie, in which Scarlett played Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow for the last time, Sneakers2090 ,and thought that another movie could focus on a single character.
When asked if the sequel might happen, Kate told RadioTimes.com: “I want to follow a different character, yes.
“I think Scarlett is really happy that she is leaving the party. You know, she is not the last to leave. She decided to leave. I don’t think she wants to come back now.”

The director refused to guess whether Florence Pew’s young killer Yelena Belova would become the protagonist of a new movie, insisting that she was only focusing on the current blockbuster.
Kate shared: “My focus is on Black Widow and what the characters in our story are doing. So I didn’t focus on Florence.”
The Australian filmmaker made her debut in Black Widow, and she would like to host another Marvel project.
She said: “I mean, all the beautiful battles and spectacular scenes, I think just creating something really interesting and happy is quite addictive. So yes, I will do it again. Yes.
“I’m really happy. Usually, when I have something to come out,Jordan Release News, I feel scared, but this time, I’m really happy. I think because it’s such a collective effort.”
Kate also revealed that she would like to see more Alexi/Red Guardian soldiers in Port David.
When asked about returning to the role, she said: “I don’t have a crystal ball.
“Although I think Alexi has so much charm and fun… he has already announced that he wants to fight Captain America.”
